Graphic Design History Workshops for Design Agencies and the Public Sector

Design History Workshops

Insightful workshops and presentations centred around graphic design artefacts and history. Workshops are tailored specifically for design agencies and professionals in the public sector. These workshops provide an in-depth understanding of design history, covering significant movements, influential figures, and key milestones that have shaped the discipline. Participants will gain insights that can enhance their creative practices and foster innovative thinking within their organisations.

Presentations can also be bespoke to set topics such as travel and wayfinding, healthcare and design systems and infographics.

Workshop Objectives

  1. Seek inspiration from graphic design history. Delve into the history of graphic design from its origins to contemporary practices. Understand how historical events and cultural shifts have influenced design styles and methodologies.

  2. Inspire Creative Thinking. Examine how past designs can inspire modern solutions. Participants will explore case studies that highlight the relevance of historical design principles in today’s projects.

  3. Foster Collaboration. Engage with colleagues through design artefacts, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing. These workshops promote a community of practice among design agencies and public sector professionals.
