David King
David King (1943–2016) was a British graphic designer and art director best known for his influential work as art director of The Sunday Times Magazine in the 1960s and 70s, and for his extensive collection of Soviet visual culture. He studied at the London College of Printing and worked alongside Michael Rand at The Sunday Times. His application of Constructivist graphic principles to editorial design was highly influential on British design. His collection of Soviet posters, photographs, and documents, over 250,000 items!
