Walter Herdeg
Walter Herdeg was born in Zurich in 1904. He trained as a graphic designer at the School of Applied Arts in Zurich, the State Academy of Fine Arts and Applied Arts in Zurich and the State Academy of Fine Arts and Applied Arts in Berlin. He worked as an independent graphic designer in Paris, London and New York. In 1938, together with W. Amstutz, he opened a studio and founded Graphis magazine in 1944 Explore related designers including Josef Müller-Brockmann and Armin Hofmann.
