Hans Hartmann
Hans Hartmann was born in Switzerland in 1913. He began his career in the advertising department of the Bally Shoe Company before studying at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zürich. In 1938, he founded his own studio in Berne, which he transferred to Köniz in 1964. His work included advertising art, book design, exhibition display, lettering, postage stamps and trademarks design. Explore related designers including Josef Müller-Brockmann and Armin Hofmann.
