Rolf Müller was born in Dortmund in 1940 and studied at the University of Design of Ulm, from 1960 to 1963. He worked with Josef Müller-Brockmann, Zürich from 1963 to 1964 and he worked at his own studio in Ulm. from 1965. From 1967 until 1972 he worked with Otl Aicher and served as deputy representative for the Design of the 20th Olympic Games Munich 1972. In 1973 he moved Munich and set up his own studio there.

Just like people, cities are complex systems. Planners and designers play a key role in making them function smoothly through well-designed signage systems and visual identities. These elements must not clutter the environment but instead serve to inform, direct, and warn the public effectively.

These one-colour forms have a playful but structured aesthetic through their geometric forms, they remind me of the abstract line drawings of Picasso blended with Jan Tschichold and the New Typography.
Marin Lorenz has had an amazing career, designing for clients such as ESPN and Nike, teaching at some of Europe's leading design schools and publishing books, such as Flexible Visual Sytems, documenting his research and approach to design practice.

Magalhães developed over 180 brands and in addition to developing visual identities, he also developed designs for Brazilian notes and coins.
