Dvořák); 3. Address book (designed by Al. Štork) and invitation (designed by Fr. Stehlík); 4. from the Děln. Academy competition (work by Jar. Bernat and Al. Riegr); 5. invitation and ex libris (designed by Jar. Bernat); 6. Ex libris (designed and cut into linoleum by Boh. Valihrach in the B. Knechtl and Co. printing house in Olomouc, which again dedicated this supplement). – Articles: V. Advertising Design, Design Archive Feature, Members Only Content
Perusing an issue of Der Druckspiegel from 1962, I found these fantastic examples of Swiss Design, produced for the University Ball at the University in St. Gallen, Switzerland, in 1961. The advertising matter included posters, newspaper advertisements, cinema slides, invitation cards and a booklet.

Design Archive Feature, Designer Profiles, Members Only Content, Poster Design
Blase’s long-term clients were Staatstheater Kassel (Kassel State Theater) and Atlas Films. Karl Oskar Blase produced countless posters for these two organisations. It’s not surprising considering Blase designed posters for the Staatstheater for twelve years between 1966 and 1978.

Last month (March 2022), I spoke to over fifty Graphic Design undergraduates about the archive and my passion for design history, after which the students had full access to items in the collection and participated in discourse amongst their peers and lecturers. As part of their critical studies unit, the students will be producing essays and content related to the impact, history and aesthetics of selected artefacts.
