Art Nouveau was a movement rooted in organic forms and flowing lines. It merged art and design across posters, typography, and printed matter. In its Central European formit was called Jugendstil in Germany, Secessionsstil in Vienna and Secese in Bohemia. It produced graphic work of decorative richness and typographic invention. The archive documents the Art Nouveau tradition through scanned magazines, including Typografia and Jugend, designer profiles, and printed matter from the movement’s defining years.
