Dada was an anti-art movement born from the trauma of the First World War, embracing chance, collage, and typographic experimentation to challenge cultural norms. In graphic terms, it used photomontage and the anti-rational use of type. Its influence runs directly into Constructivism, Surrealism, and Punk decades later. The archive documents Dada graphic design through designer profiles and printed matter from the movement’s key years in Zurich, Berlin, Paris, and New York.
