George Vakirtzis (born 1923) was a Greek designer and artist whose work spanned painting, poster design, and visual communication for cultural and tourism initiatives. Educated in Athens and Paris, he produced posters, magazine work, and large-scale graphics, including cinema and exhibition materials. His work combines expressive illustration with strong graphic composition, often reflecting Mediterranean visual culture and modernist influences. Vakirtzis contributed significantly to the development of Greek graphic design in the postwar period.
