Heinz Waibl studied at the Licco Artistico and Politecnico in Milan. He founded a design studio called SIGNO in 1974 and was Max Huber’s assistant from 1950-1954. In 1967 he became a designer at UNIMARk in the USA and returned to Milan in 1971. His clients included American Airlines, Cinzano, Porsche, RAI, Rank Xerox and Rinascente.
