James McMullan (born in Tsingtao, China, 14 June 1934) is an American illustrator and designer. He studied at Pratt Institute and worked at Push Pin Studios from 1965 to 1968. His work spans editorial illustration, theatre posters, and book design. McMullan has taught at the School of Visual Arts, Parsons School of Design, and other institutions.
