Rastorfer transformed the advertising of Volkswagen and his work contrasted with that of the previously commissioned designers. It reiterates the importance of finding a designer who can transform your vision and adverting and how the significance of consistent messaging across advertisements, contributes to the creation of a memorable campaign

Japanese modern design was heavily influenced by European art movements, particularly modernism and the Bauhaus school. As Japan's advertising industry expanded, it increasingly drew from Western culture, especially television and film, resulting in designs that were eclectic, vibrant, and infused with modernist energy.
Every year the 20 best posters are selected in Germany and once more brought to the attention of the public. We do not publish all the twenty posters today; instead we add some which failed to be distinguished and which nevertheless are distinguished.
