Piet Zwart was a Dutch designer, photographer, and typographer and was heavily influenced by Russian Constructivism and the Dutch De Stijl movement. After studying at the School of Applied Arts, Amsterdam he worked as a graphic designer. His innovative typography includes designs for clients such as Dutch Cable Factory in Delft and the Dutch Postal Telegraph and Telephone Company.

Arrows of Advertising – An Australian Shell Poster Campaign designed by Frank Eidlitz

A total of 24 posters were created for the campaign during 1964, using the arrow symbol as a key features, representing power, motion and speed. The handmade lithographs use up to 19 colours, which were individually printed at large scale. The posters also utilise the brand colours red and yellow from Shells corporate identity.

Kazumasa Nagai  (永井 一正) was born in 1929 in Osaka and is one of Japan's most acclaimed graphic designers. He designed iconic corporate logos for major companies such as Mitsubishi UFJ, Japan Railways, Nissin, and TEPCO and designed 100s of posters.
