Matthew Leibowitz studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art, attending evening classes from 1936 to 1939. After serving as art director for the Philadelphia Advertising Agency for two years, he launched a freelance career in advertising. Starting in 1942, he worked as an art director and consultant for several prominent industrial firms. His clients included International Business Machines (IBM), RCA Victor, Sharp & Dohme, Spalding, Container Corporation of America, General Electric, Reichhold, American Chemical Paint Company, Film Designers, Inc., Benton & Bowles, N.W. Ayer & Son, the International Red Cross, Caedmon Publishers, and others.

Kiyoshi Awazu (粟津) was a renowned Japanese graphic designer, known for his contributions across various creative fields including poster design, architecture, set design, filmmaking, and illustration. His unique style was commissioned by theatre groups, design and architecture magazines and various organisations for the covers of book covers and posters.
KLM's brand evolution by Henrion Design Associates. Founded in 1919, KLM is the world's oldest operating airline. In 1961, Henrion Design Associates redesigned the iconic brand, overcoming challenges of standardisation and outdated aesthetics.
Last month (March 2022), I spoke to over fifty Graphic Design undergraduates about the archive and my passion for design history, after which the students had full access to items in the collection and participated in discourse amongst their peers and lecturers. As part of their critical studies unit, the students will be producing essays and content related to the impact, history and aesthetics of selected artefacts.
