Herb Lubalin graduated from Cooper Union in 1939 and initially designed exhibits for the New York World's Fair. After freelancing and working as an art director for various agencies, he joined Sudler and Hennessey in 1946, where he became vice president and creative director. His work earned him numerous awards from the New York Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, and AIGA.

The best poster designs from Die besten Plakate des Jahres 1957 with a translated foreword by Walter Kern. Featuring the work of J. Müller-Brockmann, Gottlieb Soland, Mary Vieira and Celestino Piatti.
The Cuban film poster conveys the spirit and ideals of the Cuban revolution. A time of political change, an uprising that ended the brutal dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. The Danish Film Institute have a collection of Cuban Film Posters from the past 50 years.

The designer is unstated on these postcards, which were designed during the mid to late 1970s, but these playful illustrations alongside what looks to be Frankfurter Bold definitely fit the criteria of friendliness and efficiency

Yūsaku Kamekura had a long list of clients and as well as cover designs, he worked across logo and brand design, packaging, book design, and other printed matter, but he is particularly known for his poster design. His clients included Nikon, Tokyo 1964 Olympics, Meiji and TDK.
