The content mainly focuses on graphic design for paper media from the 1920s to the 1930s. From posters of unknown authors from 1900 to 1910, covers from the Meiji and Taisho eras such as Goyo Hashiguchi (1881-1921), Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934), Hisui Sugiura (1876-1965), Asahi Beer, and Shiseido, commercial posters for Shochikuza, and other designs by Kitagarasu Tada (1889-1948), Takashi Kono (1906-1999), Yoshinari Mizushima, Gihachiro Okuyama (1807-1981), and Hiroshi Hara (1903-1986).

“Kissho, Shofuku, Hanjo” Tadanori Yokoo’s Silkscreen Poster Exhibition in 1997

In 1997 Tadanori Yokoo showcased 31 new silkscreens at the Ginza Graphic Gallery in Tokyo. Many of these works were previously unseen, and I was fortunate enough to discover a feature in a back issue of Idea magazine that showcased the full collection of silkscreen posters.
