Carlo Vivarelli spent four years apprenticing at a graphic art studio in Zurich. In 1939, he moved to Paris to study under Paul Colin and attended various art schools. In 1946, he became the art director at Studio Boggeri in Milan. The following year, he established his own studio in Zurich. Vivarelli is also a co-publisher and co-editor of the graphic design magazine New Graphic Design.

Hiroshi Ohchi was a prominent Japanese designer, known for his playful and imaginative illustrated poster and packaging designs. He often combined bright colours with simple geometric forms and illustrated people and humanistic elements.

The versatility of the arrow sign knows no bounds – from thin lines exuding delicacy to thick, heavy-set lines conveying stability and weight. Depending on its construction, the arrow sign can speak with individuality, even possessing psychological and emotional expression.
I have known Rob for over a decade and I have been a huge admirer of his work. He specialises in reverse gilded glass sign making, typographic murals and traditional sign-writing.
