Ashley Havinden
Ashley Havinden was born in 1903 in Maidstone, Kent. Leaving school without formal qualifications, he began his career as a trainee at a printing company in Watford. At nineteen, he joined the advertising agency W.S. Crawford, where he spent his entire career. He became Art Director in 1929 and later served as Vice-Chairman. Modern Publicity
Modern Publicity was a British design annual published by The Studio Ltd. It featured many areas of design such as posters and brochure but also logo design and magazine advertisements.
