Quarterly Film was launched in 1968 by Film Art Company as a quarterly film magazine.
The seven members of the editorial board are Kiyoshi Awazu, Takahiko Iimura, Toru Takemitsu, Hiroshi Teshigahara, Yusuke Nakahara, Shunsuke Matsumoto, and Koichi Yamada.
They are outstanding representatives of avant-garde art, experimental films, and film criticism of the time. It was issued for the purpose of introducing new film movements overseas.

Hiroshi Ohchi was a prominent Japanese designer, known for his playful and imaginative illustrated poster and packaging designs. He often combined bright colours with simple geometric forms and illustrated people and humanistic elements.

Many influential British designers have made their names in the history books. Abram Games, Alan Fletcher, Tom Eckersley and Derek Birdsall, to name a few. But one designer that has always influenced me, not only as inspiration from their design output, but as an example of the role of a designer and the importance of having strong ethics, is Ken Garland. He is known for his innovative and socially responsible approach to graphic design and his involvement in the design community through his teaching, writing and activism. Direction of Travel is a project by Christian Nolle, a half Danish/half German London based artist and map collector. He has spent decades creating work, often in photographic form, that looks at the interplay between aviation, politics and the cities we live in. Christian is also the Founder and Head of Good Caesar, a design and technology studio.
